Moira Shearer , 23 , redhead ballerina of ' The Red Shoes ' and the Sadler's Wells Ballet , was married in the Royal Chapel at Hampton Court Palace , Middlesex , to Mr Ludovic Kennedy , a young writer , today ( Saturday ) . Mr Kennedy, 30 , is the son of Capt Edward Kennedy , hero of the armed merchant cruiser ' HMS Rawalpindi ' , who died when his ship was sunk in the last war . The bridegroom , whose mother has a ' grace and favour ' apartment at the Palace , was at Eton and Oxford and was formally librarian of Ashridge Adult Education College . The wedding gown , a guarded secret until today , is of a new white material , ' Rose Dentelle ' , like slipper satin .
