More than 100 delegates from 15 nations and their colonies , assembled at Caxton Hall , London , for the International Conference on Human Rights , convened by the National Council for Civil Liberties . This conference , called in response to the general invitation of the United Nations for interested organisations to undertake educational work on Human Rights , is being attended by an official observer of UNESCO . Subjects being discussed in commissions are discrimination on grounds of race , religion , nationality and language discrimination on grounds of sex freedom of the press and of communications .
