Forty people - twenty English and twenty German - are working together at an Anglo German Work Camp being held at Dauntsey's School , West Lavington , Wiltshire , England . The members of the camp vary in age between 17 and 28 and include factory hands and university students . The work consists of cutting down trees , levelling ground and making roads . Arranged in conjunction with the Anglo-German Circle , the camp aims at a wider understanding between all sections of the English and German nations .
