With a look that seems to say 'I'll do it even if it kills me' , 61 year old Aurther Brown steps into the tape to win a race in which the competitors had to carry one hundredweight of wets and for half a mile . The race was part of the Borough Market Social and Sports Club , being revived after fourteen years , and held at Guy's Hospital sports ground , London . 3 September 1952
