The inquest continued at Ealing Town Hall on ' Lady ' Mary Menzies and her daughter Mrs Isobel Chesney who were found murdered at their Old People ' s Home , Ealing . Among those who arrived to give evidence was ex - prisoner Herbert John Boyd whos shared a prison cell with Mrs Chesney ' s husband Ronald Chesney in 1951 - and who alleges that Chesney offered him ?1000 to run Mrs Chesney down with a car . 24 March 1954
