Sir Winston Crowns His Day Sir Winston Churchill , after one of the busiest days of his life , finished his 80th birthday by being received in audience by the Queen at Buckingham Palace . He was then returning to Downing Street to have a quiet dinner with Lady Churchill . This morning Sir Winston attended the opening of Parliament and received birthday presentations in Westminister Hall .
