Middlesex is seen after leaving the Eastbourne Magistrates ' Court where she gave evidence in the hearing of the murder charge against Dr John Bodkin Adams . Dr Adams is accused of murdering a patient Mrs Edith Morrell , 81 , by an overdose of drugs in November 1950 , but the Crown also alleges that he caused the deaths of two other Eastbourne residents , Mr Alfred Hullett and his widow Mrs Gertrude Hullett who died within four months of each other in 1956 . Miss Durrant told the court that on 19th July , the Thursday before Mrs Hullett died , she saw her mistress and there was nothing unusual or abnormal about her . 17th January 1957
