Nursing Sister Gladys Miller , of Eastbourne , is seen after giving evidence in the Eastbourne Magistrates Court , during the hearing of the murder charge against Dr John Bodkin Adams . Dr Adams , is accused of murdering a patient , Mrs Edith Morrell , 81 , by an overdose of drugs in November 1950 , but the Crown also alleges that he murdered two other Eastbourne residents , Mr Alfred Hullet , in died in March 1956 , and his widow Mrs Gertrude Hullett , who died in July 1956 . Sister Miller , a nurse for 38 years , told the court that in December 1955 , she acted as relief nurse to Mr Hullett at his home in Eastbourne . 16 January 1957
