Dr Martin Luther King , announced on 13th December a major re-organisation of his Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Dr King named three high-ranking SCLC executives to new posts . Rev Andrew Young (right) was named executive Vice-President , William A Rutherford (left) was named to replace Young as Executive Director and Rev Bernard Lafayette Jnr (centre) was appointed as Program Advisor . 15th December 1967
