Bomb thrown at meeting addressed by Pandit Nehru - explosion of the Calcutta Maidan. Pandit Nehru the Indian Prime Minster escaped unhurt when a bomb was thrown during a meeting which he addressed on the Calcutta Maidan recently. The bomb was thrown at the police enclosure, killing one man and injuring four. A live bomb was also found of Lucknow Airport runway yesterday, soon after the Prime Minster's aircraft had landed.
