The Blue Riband of the Atlantic, the trophy presented by Mr H K Meles, the British MP to the liner holding the record for the Atlantic crossing, has been brought to England by Normandie, the new holder, and is to be exhibited at the French Line's offices in Cockspur Street. The trophy, formerly held by the Italian liner Bex, has been handed over by the Italian authorities a fortnight before it was due in order that the Normandie could carry it on her last voyage before going into dry dock.
