Eighty two year old Lord Monteagle of Brandon was married at the Kensington Register Office to his former wife's sister Mrs Julia Spring Rice aged 81 - Mrs Julia Spring Rice - daughter of Sir Peter Fitzgerald Bt - married Mr Stephen Edward Rice many years ago - her sister becoming the wife of Lord Monteagle - his cousin Mr Rice died in 1916 and a few years later Lord Monteagle was left a widower Some months ago Mrs Spring Rice broke a thigh She is not yet able to walk without sticks Photo shows the bridegroom Mr Charles Booth by the bride's daughter on his way from the register office to the house after the wedding September 11th 1935
