A curious new vehicle named by engineers ( the aero-sledge ) is being tested out in a trial from Moscow to the White Sea and back - a distance of several thousand miles - the aero-sledge has a body something like the fuselage of an aeroplane but with a bonnet resembling that of a motorcar - it travels on three ski-like runners the steering being controlled by means of a wire connecting the front runner and those at the back - the motive power is provided by a propeller in the rear - photo shows the aero-sledge soon after the start of the trial February 7th 1935
