On the seventh anniversary of the death of Field-Marshal Earl Haig ( founder of the British Legion ) a wreath was placed at the Cenotaph by Colonel E C E Heath ( General Secretary of the Legion ) - a wreath was also laid by Captain Donald Simson OBE ( Hon Secretary of the British Empire Service League ) - both wreaths were made at the British Legion Poppy Factory at Richmond - photo shows Colonel Heath ( further from camera ) and Captain Simson laying the wreaths January 29th 1935
