A British-built autogiro piloted by Roger Lepreux made a perfect landing in the Champs Elysees in Paris and made history by being the first aeroplane ever to land in the city - the demonstration - which was made in connection with the French Aero Show at the Grand Palais adjoining the Champs Elysee - was watched by General Benein the French Air Minister and M Pietri the Minister of Marine - traffic continued to pass undisturbed on either side of the machine which took off a few minutes after its landing - photo shows the autogiro outside the Grand Palais where the French Aero Show is taking place November 23rd 1934
