A British autogiro made a perfect landing in the Champs Elysees in Paris and thus made history by being the first aeroplane ever to land in the city - traffic continued to pass the plane on both sides - it took off again later and landed a second time - the pilot was Roger Lepreux - photo shows the autogiro outside the Grand Palais where the French Aero Show is being held November 23rd 1934
