Miss Nita Rosslyn of Manchester set off from Olympia in London on a red cycle to ride round the world as the ambassadress of British cycle makers - Miss Rosslyn ( who is known as the Girl in Red because she always wears red ) will return to Olympia foru years hence - Miss Rosslyn is actually a variety artist but she has cycled over 40,000 miles in the last four years - she has already visited many countries and has earned her living singing songs with a banjolele and telling the story of her adventures en route - photo shows Miss Nita Rosslyn receiving an enthusiastic send-off from Olympia November 7th 1934
