These pictures which have been flown to England in the record-breaking D H Comet machine piloted by Owen Cathcart Jones and Kenneth Waller from Melbourne show scenes taken during the Centenary Celebrations in Melbourne Australia - photo shows the American fliers Clyde Pangbourne with R Turner and R Nicholl ( the wireless operator ) on their arrival at Laverton aerodrome in Melbourne - they were checked in third at the finish of the London to Melbourne Air Race November 2nd 1934
