A woman is shortly leaving London to spend four years looking after 500 lepers on Ruanda ( a lake island of Central Africa ) - she is Miss R M E Langley who has been here for a year with dysentery and malaria after three yeats on the island - when at Ruanda she has to superintend the injections of the lepers twice a week , dress more than 300 wounds every day , teach 104 leper schoolchildren and look after her own little mud and brick home - she tours the island with an ambulance - photo shows Miss R M E Langley in London with the ambulance she uses on Ruanda September 28th 1934
