A new habit has been designed wearing which horsewomen may ride astride without embarrassment of fear of incurring dress criticism - the novel feature of this habit is the wide pair of shorts or bloomers under which the ordinary riding breeches are worn and yet falls into the lines of a short skirt when the rider dismounts - photo shows Miss M McConnell ( Ashtead Riding School mistress ) who is the designer of this new riding habit with her horse in the Row January 28th 1934
