Mr James Woods - a Scottish-Australian pilot who was formerly in the RAF - intends to leave Broome in North-Western Australia on July 4 in an attempt to beat Mr J A Mollison's record for a flight to England. By allowing himself only two hours' sleep in every twenty-four he hopes to make the trip in six days using a Gipsy Moth plane - Mrs Millis Woods his yound wife who also holds a pilot's certificate will probably fly back to Australia with her husband - photo shows Mr James Woods June 29th 1933
