Rogation Sunday on 11th May 1958 was marked with simple services all over the country to bless farms and crops. At Eynsford, Kent , farmers, farmworkers and their families joined by the rest of the congregation went in procession from St Martin's their centuries old Norman church to various parts of the parish where rogation day ceremonies were held.
