Cape kennedy, Florida: A security guard directs spectators and members of the press, as behind him America's first Saturn V Rocket on the moon the world's mightiest rides a huge turtle like tractor at a snails pace to its launching pad. While the 364 foot rocket was hauled over the 3 1/2 miles from its assembly building to its ocean side firing site, the Apollo program director, Major General Samuel C. Phillips, said the launching timetable had been revised and noted that an overweight moonship was one "troublesome problem" remaining. The first test firing of the Saturn V is scheduled for sometime in October. 4 September 1967
