Paris, France: In their first meetin for five years, Sir Winston Churchill receives France's highest decoration, The French Cross of Liberation from Premier Charles De Gaulle, wearing the uniform of a Brigadier-General, in the gardens of the Hotel Matignon this morning. The order was created by the General during the last war; now there are 1,054 holders of it, but only 637 are still alive. Sir Winston is only the third foregin holder of the decoration. After the ceremony, there was a private luncheon for the two men. 6 November 1958
