Bagdad, Iraq: This picture was made in Bagdad today, just two days after the weekend revolt which overthrew the regime of General Kassen. This is the courtyard of the defence ministry with a damaged Mosque shown at right background. Kassem is supposed to have been executed in this courtyard on Saturday by a revolutionary firing squad. Apart from occasional firing throughout the city, life here is returning to normal under the leadership of the newly elected President, Col Abdul Salaam Aref. 12 February 1963
