New York, U.S.A: idolatry for the British Beat Group - The Beatles- still continues, despite the boycotting of some American organisations, and our picture shows the group getting police protection, during their Shea Stadium appearance in New York on August 23rd. left to righft Paul McCartney; George Harrison; John Lennon and Ringo Star. In a bid to protect the Beatles from the screaming fans the police erected three rows of barriers and the group arrrived and left by armoured car. 25 August 1966
