About 10,000 people who buy Christmas trees this year will never know that they are from the Great Park at Windsor, Berks, which supplies Covent Garden and other markets with a great number of trees each year. Some of the larger trees (up to 30ft high), decorate famous London landmarks, such as St Paul's Cathedral, and many of the West Ends large stores are also supplied with trees from the park. Photo shows some of the Christmas treees from The Great Park, Windsor, being loaded for transportation to a central area from where they are dispatched to markets - 20th November 1962
