Madame Jenny Lind-Goldschmidt. Swedish singer and actress. 1891 Jenny Lind was a very close friend of the Danish fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen. HCA was fascinated by Jenny Lind and very much in love with her. They met often on their travels around Europe and HCA went to Berlin once just to meet her. In 1854 he sees her with husband and child, and gives up all hope. The year of 2005 is the 200-year anniversary for Hans Christian Andersen's birth. Due to this there will be a global celebration to remember and honour the Danish author.
