August 1981: British singer, David Bowie plays the title role in "Baal" by Bertolt Brecht. It's a play about self-destruction and set in early 20th century Germany. Baal is an anarchic and amoral singer and poet, who wanders the countryside drinking, fighting and singing in cafes. Tracey Childs is also in the photo.
