British scientist gets Nobel Prize. Dr. Francis Crick, the British scientist who has won a 1962 Nobel Prize is pictured in his study in Cambridge. The Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physilogy was jointly awarded today to U.S priologist Prof. James Dewey Watson, Dr. Crick, and another english scientist, Maurice Wilkins of London. "Their discoveries concerning molecular stucture of nycleic(CQ)Acids and its significance for information transfer in living materials", was the basis of the award, said the Nobel Committee of the Stockholm Caroline Institute. Dr. Crick, is a scientist at the Medical Research Council unit for molecular biology at Cambridge University, England. Oct. 18, 1962.
