In centre is the New miss World, Miss Australia, 18, a librarian; On right is Miss United Kingdom, Kathleen Winstanley 22, a supervisor who was second, and on left is Miss Israel, Mirey Zamir, an 18 year old model from Haifa, who is to enter the Israeli Army next year, who had been highly favoured to win the title ,was third. 14 November 1968
