London: The world's biggest Easter Egg, eight feet high, is given a send off today by these three lovely girls, left to right Jill Williams, 19, of Purley, Surrey; Diane Burge, 17, of Hayes, Middlesex and Diane Collins, 20, of Lamington the egg will be the main attraction of this year's Easter Spectacular" at Llandudno, but will tour many main cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Chesterfield, and Wigan before arriving there on March 18th. Holidaymakers at Llandudno will watch teams of schoolchildren compete for a prize silver egg and real chocolate eggs along the promenade It will be welcomed by the Mayor. 24 march 1959
