Heinrich Friedrich Karl Reichsfreiherr vom und zum Stein (October 25, 1757 - June 29, 1831) commonly known as Baron vom Stein, was a German statesman for the Kingdom of Prussia. He introduced reforms that paved the way for the unification of Germany.
