Lieutenant Colonel Sir Vijayananda Gajapathi Raju (28 December 1905 - 2 December 1965) better known as the Maharajkumar of Vizianagram or Vizzy, was an Indian cricketer and one of the liveliest characters in Indian cricket in the late 1920s and 1930s. He used his great wealth to further his passion for cricket, bringing noted cricketers such as Jack Hobbs over to India - seen here as all-India cricket captain selecting cricket bats with the help of Jack Hobbs, batting giant, in his Fleet Street sports shop - 17th April 1936. 固opFoto
