Dressed in flowing robes and headdresses, Cornish Bards, from Cornwall's cities and towns, went in procession to the summit of Trencrom Hill, near St Ives during the weekend to take part in the Cornish Gorsedd. This procession is held annually to one of Cornwall's ancient stone memorials to help maintain the National Celtic Spirit of Cornwall. All bards admitted to the Gorsedd must have a knowledge of the old Cornish language.
