Bring Home The Water. Floods caused by recent bad weather, endangered the water supply of thousands of East ad North London people when their taps were either dry or delivering muddy water. When the river Lea burst its banks and flooded the filter beds of Lea Bridge-Road pumping station. Emergency water was sent out on lorries by Metropolitan Water Board and local Councils Residents of Woodford bringing hone the water this morning, Sunday.
