Honorary life membership of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry Regimental Club was presented to Mrs Odette Churchill, G.C. and to Anna Neagle, the film star, who took the part of Odette in the film of that name Odette Churchill was parachuted into France during the war and refused to give the name of her associates when tortured by the Gestapo. Smith, M.B.E., Croix De Guerre, U.S. Medal of Freedom with Bronze Palm, who was parachuted into France during the last war; Anna Neagle, the film star, Odette Churchill and her daughter Lily, aged 18, photographed at the F.A.N.Y. Regimental Club in Sloane Street tonight, where Odette and Anna received their membership. 7 May 1952
