An employment exchange 120 feet below ground has been constructed in "Clapham Deep", London to deal with the 240 Jamaicans who are now in the rest centre here waiting employment to start their new life in Britain The Jamaicans sailed to England, The land of Hope" because of the unemployment problem in their own land. Technicians, Labourers and skilled men, the Jamaicans hope to fine good jobs here. "Clapham Deep" was constructed as the deepest air raid shelter in the world.
