Resulting from the double-plane disaster in New York today these flames in Brooklyn where the United Airliner came to earth, continue to spread across the buildings which look as if they had been hit by a bomb. Firemen continue to fight the blaze and at lower left are are by the ruins of the Methodist "Pillar of Fire" church. The main section of the airliner crashed into the roofs of our attached houses and big tail section dropped to the street on top of a Ford Sedan. Nine badly burned bodies were removed from one building. It could not be learned immediately whether they were passengers on the plane or occupants of the tenement.
