Today the first load of Marshall Aid sugar to be shipped to Britain under the European Recovery Programme was unloaded from the "Araby" at the Royal Victoria Docks on its arrival from Caribbea. Mr John Strachey, Minister of Food, was there to see the 4,000 tons of Caribbean sugar being unloaded.
