Noted Architect Frank Lloyd Wright outside the Capitol after appearing before a closed-door session of the House Military Appropriations SubCommittee. Wright urged the group to postpone construction of the proposed new Air Force Academy, the design of which he termed "Half baked ..., commercial ...., utterly without soul or spirit." The 87- year-old Architect urged reconsideration of the plans. Washington, 9th July 1955
