It's All Happening Relaxing in the grounds of Alexandra Palace in the morning sunshine are some of the thousands of young people who attended last night's "14-hour Technicolour Dream" - the psychedelic happenings of happenings, the thing of things - in the Palace. The young people paid ? per head to attend. "The Happening" was sponsored by, and in aid of, a newspaper called the International Times which ran into difficulties after their offices were raided by Police earlier this year. The International Times features a sort of anarchy and its followers practise it. "The Happening" variously billed as a "free speech-human be-in, Banana week-end turn-on", featured psychedelic sounds, a festival of light machines and a ballet by the exploding galaxy ballet company entitled "Fuzzdeath". 30th April 1967
