Italian actress Monica Vitti, wearing a modest mode - a high collared coat which boasts a face cover up with a couple of peep holes, is shown with a laughing Dirk Bogarde, the British movie actor at London's Savoy hotel this evening. Monica is to play the title role in Modesty Blaise, a movie based on the comic strip of Peter O'Donnel, which is featured in a London evening newspaper and syndicated abroad in 14 major newspapers. Dirk is playing the villain of the piece. Also co-starring is Britain's Terence-Stamp who plays Modesty's Cockney siode kick, Willia Garvin. Miss Vitti is well known for her appearances in many of the outstanding movies directed by Antonioni, and is one of the few top Italian screen actresses to be trained on the stage before entering films. 8th July 1965
