Anguilla, Leeward. A decision on whether to send troops to occupy this Caribbean rebel island is expected to be made within the next twenty-four hours by British Prime Minister, Harold Wilson. The rebels are led by self-styled 'President' Ronald Webster seen in this picture with weapons which he says will help repel anyone trying to return to Anguilla to its Federation with the nearby islands of St Kitts and Nevin. A special task force of British paras and police has been alerted for flying to take over the island. 17th March 1969.
