Frenchman Jacques Anquetil (centre) wins the 51st Tour De France cycle race, his fifth tour win and the fourth in successive years. Anquetil won the time trial but finished the tour only 46 seconds ahead of Raymond Poulidor (left). Third in the 4,500 kilometre classic was Federico Bahamontes (right) of Spain and fourth Henri Anglade of France. The first three are pictured waving their bunches of victory flowers after their arrival in Paris. 14th July 1964.
