Defence Computing The Elliott 920C microminiature computer for mobile defence applications. 920C has a one microsecond, 18-bit 8000-131000 word core store and is the most powerful computer in the Elliott-Automation 900 Series. In the foreground is the store unit and behind it is the hinged logic section. 920C has been ordered for a number of defence systems including the new British standby early warning stations (SLEWCS) which are being equipped jointly by Elliott - Automation and Marconi, both English Electric Companies.
