Premier and Ex Premier Exchange Smiles - Volume of Tributes Presented to Earl Baldwin Mr Neville Chamberlain, the Prime Minister, presented to Earl Baldwin a volume containing about 550 resolutions of tribute passed by local Conservative Associations at a meeting of the Central Council of the Party in Friends' House, Euston Road. Such a presentation from the whole Party to a retiring Conservative leader has never before been made. At the meeting, Earl Baldwin took his farewell of the Conservative Party.
