Aboard the troopship Empire Fowey are members of the Glorious Gloucesters, who arrived back in Southampton for Christmas with a cheer and a wave for the camera. Aboard are 700 officers and men of the 1st Battalion, the Gloucestershire Regeiment - 19 of them being survivors of the epic Imjin river battle, which won for the Regiment a special citation from President Truman.
