Zeist, Holland : Gathered at the sport's centre of the Royal Netherlands Football Association earlier this week are a group of players from which the national side to play the Soviet Union will be chosen. There will be noticeable absentees from the team, following a decision by the Dutch Football Association not to chose any members of the Amsterdam club after their refusal to appear at the training centre. That was because team-mate Piet Kiezer was punished for an affair during the international game against Yugoslavia. Members of the group in the picture are (Front Row from Left) Wery, Phalplatz, Pijs, Jansen, Van Der Kuile, Romeijn Doesburg and Moulijn. Back Row, from Left : Groenewoud, Van Beveren, Houwaart, Israel, De Zoete, Maassen, Eykenbroek, Warnas, Kemper and coach Kessler. 23rd November 1967
