Two pictures on the L.C.C. housing estate at St Paul's Cray, Kent where houses where being built at a rate of 30/40 per week to house the thousands of homeless workers of London. This is a picture taken on 5th February 1950 where the farm buildings of Gray's Farm still remain (seen over the tops of the houses) but the oast house tops have gone. The elm tree (left) has grown higher and the wood on the rise has disappeared. See image number 0110023 for initial view.
